Charge into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower!

SFNEM encourages Indigenous schools and youth groups across Saskatchewan to take part in this year’s Torch the Turtle poster contest.

Students are invited to create an original poster showing Torch demonstrating at least two safe charging habits. The downloadable package includes a classroom lesson plan, student checklist, living room hazard-spotting activity, and poster template.

Submission deadline: November 1, 2026

Email digital copies or photos of completed projects to info@indigenousfiresafety.ca. Include your school or youth group, city/community/First Nation, teacher and participant names, and the submitting contact’s name, email, phone number, and address.
